Director Mike Barker makes his U.S. feature film debut with "Best
Laid Plans." Barker previously directed the feature "The James
Gang," released in the U.K. and starring John Hannah, Helen McCrory,
Jason Flemyng and Toni Collette.
Barker has directed numerous British television movies and series episodes
including "Silent Witness," "The Tenant at Wildfell Hall,"
"Go Back Out," "When the Fat Lady Sings," "The
Last American Freak Show," "The Ronson Mission," "The
Jumper" and "Eddie and the East Coast Bouffants."
Ted Griffin's first produced screenplays include "Best Laid Plans"
and the recently released 20th Century Fox feature"Ravenous".
Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Griffin graduated from Colgate
University. His grandfather was motion picture director William A. Seiter,
whose credits included "Room Service," starring the Marx Brothers,
and "Sons of the Desert." Griffin's grandmother, Marion Nixon,
was a silent film actress. Griffin's upcoming projects include"Solace"
which he co-wrote with Sean Bailey and"Mobile."

Born and raised in New York, Alan Greenspan first moved to California
to attend the University of San Diego. Upon graduation, he pursued a career
in photography, both as a freelance commercial photographer and as a lens
for hire in the music industry. It was the latter that spurred his interest
in the entertainment industry, which eventually led to his 15-year stint
as an agent and Vice President at International Creative Management. In
1993, Greenspan started his own management and production company, International
Arts Entertainment (IAE). IAE was created to provide comprehensive client
service to writers, directors and producers with Greenspan involved in
the development, production and arrangement of financing for client and
non-client projects. In addition to IAE, Greenspan has partnered with
director and former client Mike Newell to form Dogstar Films. Dogstar
projects with Greenspan producing or executive producing have included
Newell's "Donnie Brasco", "Photographing Fairies",
"200 Cigarettes" and Newell's "Pushing Tin."

Betsy Beers served as President of Production at Dogstar Films from the
company's inception in 1994 until March 1999. In addition to"Best
Laid Plans" Beers served as producer on Dogstar's "200 Cigarettes."
She also supervised development on all projects for Mike Newell and the
company including "Photographing Fairies" directed by Nick Willing;
Newell's "Pushing Tin"; and"High Fidelity" directed
by Stephen Frears and currently in post-production. Previously, Beers
was Vice President of Creative Affairs for Gale Anne Hurd's Pacific Western
Productions. While at Pacific Western, she also served as an executive
producer on "Safe Passage" starring Susan Sarandon and Paul
Schrader's "Witch Hunt." She started her career working for
Ruth Vitale and Gary David Goldberg at the latter's Ubu Productions feature
division. Prior to her move to Los Angeles, Beers was an actress/comedian,
performing and producing at her own Manhattan based theater company and
acting in commercials.

Chris Moor's producing credits include the critically acclaimed "Good
Will Hunting" starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and the recent
hit "American Pie." Moore's production company, Fusion Studios,
has a three-year deal with Miramax Films and are currently producing a
number of projects. He is in post-production on "Reindeer Games"
for Dimension Films and "The Third Wheel" for Miramax, and in
pre-production for a September start on "Squelch." Moore established
his entertainment career as a literary agent for Intertalent Agency in
1989, where he represented numerous writers and directors in motion pictures,
television and new media. In 1992, Moore left to take a position at International
Creative Management, where he stayed for a year before leaving to become
an independent producer.

Producer Sean Bailey, through Horsepower Entertainment, is involved in
numerous projects in various levels of development including "Foolproof";
"The Core," co-financed by Mutual Film; "Solace,"
which he co-wrote with Ted Griffin; "YankeeTraders"; "Mobile,"
written by Griffin; "Love Crazy," a re-make of the 1941 MGM
film written by Jeff Eastin; "The Palace Thief" adapted by Neil
Tolkin from the New York Times best-seller by Ethan Canin; and "Sleuth,"
a re-make of the Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine classic. Bailey has
produced several projects for television including "Debt," which
received a 1996 Cable Ace Award, "Love Test" and "Sports
on Tap."
A graduate of Cambridge University, Mike Newell began his career in cinema
as a production trainee at Granada Television. His television directing
highlights while there include "Ready When You Are Mr. McGill"
which earned him a BAFTA nomination and the Emmy-nominated"Blood
Feud." Newell's feature film credits include "Dance with a Stranger"
winner of the 1985 Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Film Festival and"Four
Weddings and a Funeral," starring Hugh Grant and Andie McDowell,
received Academy® Award and BAFTA nominations for Best Picture, the
London Critics' Circle Award for Best British Film of the Year and the
Cesar for Best Foreign Film. Newell's work on the film garnered him the
British Director of the Year by the London Critics' Circle. Newell's other
directing credits include the acclaimed "Donnie Brasco," starring
Johnny Depp and Al Pacino and the recently released "Pushing Tin,"
starring John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton, Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.

Ben Seresin has worked extensively lighting commercials in the UK and
Australia. He has worked with such directors as Roger Woodburn, Hugh Johnson,
Marek Kanievska, Chris Hartwell, Simon Cheek and Brice Atwell and for
companies including Ridley Scott Associates, Kinsman & Company, Redwing,
MacLeod & Partners, Limelight Commercials, Paul Weiland Film Company,
Propaganda and Film Graphics Productions, among others. For television,
Seresin was director of photography on such projects as "The Grimlies";
"Dalziel & Pascoe"; "Go Back the Way You Came In"
directed by Mike Barker; "Working Week -- The Keeper"; and "Paso
Horses." He has worked as a camera operator on such projects as John
Irvin's"Robin Hood" "First Impressions" "Poirot"
and "Tank Malling." Seresin's feature film debut was on director
Mike Barker's"The James Gang."
